Your direct booking channel

Fewer commissions. More bookings that stay yours.

mee-table puts the booking widget on your own website and your own channels. On a direct booking you pay no commission per cover, you can run discounts at the quiet times, and you can ask for a deposit against no-shows.

Visibility can be bought. A direct relationship is built.

A booking site can help new guests find you. But when someone arrives from your own website, from social media, or because a regular sent them, mee-table lets you take that booking direct.

The booking site, to be found

Carry on with the channels that bring you new faces, on whatever terms your contract sets. mee-table does not ask you to switch them off.

mee-table to receive direct bookings

Put the widget on your website and connect your channels. Direct bookings come in with no commission per cover, and whatever mee-table collects stays in your account, within the terms of service and the rules that apply.

The direct channel, in practice: the evening bookings land on your own dashboard, not on somebody else’s.

The booking site stays a choice. The direct channel becomes something you own.

What does paying per cover actually cost you?

Worked out from published price lists, and it varies with your contract, your area, where the booking came from and what you have switched on. Put in your own numbers to set an estimate of the commission against what a mee-table subscription costs.

Taking the booking is not the point. What it leaves you with is.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to stop using the booking sites?

No. mee-table runs alongside them. Let them carry on bringing you visibility, while mee-table takes the direct bookings from your own website and your own channels.

Is mee-table a marketplace?

No. mee-table is not a shop window full of restaurants. It is your own booking system, running on the channels you control.

Is there a commission on bookings?

Not on a direct booking that comes through the widget. You pay for the plan you chose, plus anything extra you have taken on, as set out in the terms.

How do discounts by time work?

You choose the sittings, the availability and the discount. Use them to make your quieter nights worth booking.

How does no-show protection work?

You set the policy from your dashboard: when a guarantee is asked for, what the cancellation terms are, and what happens if nobody turns up.

Can I import bookings and guest data?

We can help you import the formats we support. Whether it works depends on how your export is put together and how clean it is. However the data is used, it still has to sit within the lawful basis, the privacy notice and whatever the guest agreed to.

How does the cost compare with a booking site?

mee-table is a subscription and charges no commission per cover on a direct booking. What a booking site costs depends on its own contract and services, so for a fair comparison put the real figures from your contract into the calculator.
